Following its world premiere in Seoul, South Korea, the all‑new electric C‑Class is now available to order. In Germany, prices for the C 400 4MATIC electric start at 56,900 euros (excl. VAT)1 for business customers and 67,711 euros (incl. VAT)2 for private customers. Attractive leasing and financing options are also available, such as a monthly leasing rate starting from 470 euros3 for private customers.

The all-new electric C-Class elevates the “Welcome home.” feeling with premium quality, superb acoustic comfort and a climate system designed for instant relaxation. Celebrating “140 years of innovation,” Mercedes‑Benz showcases its pioneering spirit and dedication to customer benefits.

The electric saloon is now available as the C 400 4MATIC electric, combining the sportiest C‑Class ever with outstanding long‑distance capability. Designed to go the distance: the all-new C 400 4MATIC electric achieves a range of up to 762 kilometres (WLTP)5. Thanks to 800‑volt technology and fast DC charging, up to 325 kilometres can be recharged in just 10 minutes6, enabling relaxed electric driving and short charging stops even on longer journeys. In real-world long-distance use, the all-new electric C‑Class can cover well over 1,000 kilometres with just one brief charging stop – for example, from Berlin to Paris (1,054 kilometres). Further models with rear-wheel and all‑wheel drive as well as various battery variants will follow. These include a rear-wheel drive model with an expected range of approximately 800 kilometres4.

Comfort and agility for long distances

The C 400 4MATIC electric combines a high level of ride comfort with immediate agility. Optional AIRMATIC air suspension smooths out the road surface and adapts the damping to the situation, while rear-axle steering tightens the turning circle and brings added precision and stability at speed. With a peak output of 360 kW and 800 Nm of torque, power is available instantly at any time; the electric all-wheel drive system (4MATIC) supports traction and driving stability. Acceleration from 0–100 km/h in 4.0 s and a top speed of 210 km/h underscore its dynamic character - while maintaining a calm, confident and refined drive.

Design: iconic presence with coupé-like silhouette

With its design, the first electric C‑Class saloon is a stand-alone emotional statement from every perspective. Distinctive sporty proportions make it unmistakable. A low and flat front with strong road presence, together with a taut roof line and a flowing, rounded rear, create a coupé-like silhouette. The iconic grille can be staged with light animations when unlocking, locking or charging – depending on option.

Comfort and practicality: “Welcome home.”

Get in, close the doors and feel at home – that’s what has distinguished the C‑Class for generations. The all‑new electric C‑Class elevates this “Welcome home.” feeling to new heights – with premium quality and craftsmanship, excellent acoustic comfort and a climate system designed to deliver comfort shortly after getting in. The purpose-built electric architecture enables a new space concept with generous room for passengers and luggage. Everyday usability benefits from a 470‑litre boot plus a 101‑litre frunk (liquid)7 and a towing capacity of up to 1.8 tonnes.

Unlocking an expansive new spatial and digital experience

The new MBUX Hyperscreen welcomes customers in the electric C‑Class. At 99.3 cm (39.1 inches), it is the largest Mercedes‑Benz display and creates an immersive digital experience. Powered by the Mercedes‑Benz Operating System (MB.OS) and Digital Extras8, infotainment and driving are more intelligent, intuitive and personalised. MB.OS connects key vehicle domains – from infotainment and comfort to charging and driver assistance – and enables regular over-the-air (OTA)8 updates via the Mercedes‑Benz Intelligent Cloud. The MBUX Virtual Assistant supports more natural dialogue, while Digital Extras can be activated in the Mercedes‑Benz Store/app to add functions such as entertainment, navigation, charging and selected MB.DRIVE features9.

Intelligent driver assistance systems for safer and more comfortable driving and parking

Advanced driver assistance functions are bundled as MB.DRIVE10. Many features can be activated over the air via the Mercedes‑Benz Store. Standard equipment includes DISTRONIC Distance Assist for speed and distance control (including stop and go), plus MB.DRIVE PARKING ASSIST8,11 to support parking and unparking. Optional packages add further comfort: MB.DRIVE Assist8,9 combines DISTRONIC with Steering Assist (SAE Level 2 support) and can facilitate lane changes in extra urban areas. MB.DRIVE PARKING ASSIST 360 optionally enhances surround visibility with a 360 degree camera.

4 The range values are provisional, based on digital simulations of the standard determination for WLTP. So far, there are neither confirmed values from an officially recognised testing organisation nor an EC type approval nor a certificate of conformity with official values. Discrepancies between the provided information and the official values are possible.

5 The specified values were determined in accordance with the prescribed measurement procedure WLTP (Worldwide harmonized Light-duty vehicles Test Procedures). The energy consumption and CO₂ emissions of a passenger car depend not only on the efficient utilisation of fuel or the respective energy carrier by the car, but also on the driving style and other non-technical factors.

The specified recharged range (WLTP) after 10 minutes was determined using the maximum DC charging power in accordance with ISO/SAE 12906 under the conditions described therein.

After the expiration of limited runtimes, Digital Extras can be extended for a fee in the Mercedes-Benz Store, provided that they are still offered for the respective vehicle at that time. Furthermore, there may be additional prerequisites or restrictions for the usage of some Digital Extras, such as a separate customer-owned contract with a third-party provider (e.g., streaming, conclusion of a data contract for "Comfort Data Volume“, navigation functions), the activation of additional Digital Extras to secure full functionality or selected third-party products (e.g., smartphone, smartwatch). As an alternative to the "Comfort Data Volume" a customer-owned data volume (e.g., mobile hotspot) must be used depending on the generation of your multimedia system. Information on the personal data processed for the usage of Digital Extras can be found in the Privacy Notices for the Digital Extras. The connection of the communication module to the mobile network, including the emergency call system, depends on the respective network coverage and availability of the network providers.
