Second record in a row: The Mercedes-Benz Museum attracted almost 950,000 visitors in 2025

• Increase of more than 7 per cent compared to the previous record year 2024
• The special “Youngtimer” exhibition is particularly popular – continuing until 31 May 2026
• 2026 is the year of anniversaries: 20 Years of the Museum, 100 Years of Mercedes-Benz, 130 Years of Commercial Vehicles, 140 Years of the Automobile

The Mercedes-Benz Museum ended the year 2025 with its second record in a row: it welcomed a total of 945,716 visitors – more than ever before in a single year. Compared to the previous peak year of 2024, this represents an increase of around 63,000 or more than 7 per cent (2024: 882,422). The proportion of international visitors also increased further to 55 per cent, almost reaching the pre-pandemic level. Most of the international guests came from China, France and the USA. Since the Mercedes-Benz Museum opened in 2006, more than 14 million people from all over the world have visited it.

The very successful special “Youngtimer” exhibition with Mercedes-Benz automotive icons from the 1990s and 2000s contributed significantly to the record result. It can be experienced through 31 May 2026 in Collection Room 5. The increasingly popular event series Classics & Coffee with the open-brand classic car meet on the Museum hill also attracted many visitors in 2025 with new themes and offers.

• The special “Youngtimer” exhibition with Mercedes-Benz automotive icons from the 1990s and 2000s can still be seen until 31 May 2026. The young classics are staged in the context of the fashion and pop aesthetics of their time. At the same time, the Museum is showing modern classics in the Passage on Level 0. • The successful Classics & Coffee series with open-brand classic car meet and much more will start the new season on 12 April 2026. To kick off the annual programme, the series celebrates the anniversary of “140 Years of Innovation” and commemorates the invention of the automobile by Carl Benz and Gottlieb Daimler in 1886. Classics & Coffee takes place every Sunday on the Museum hill through 11 October 2026. Other themed highlights this year include the S-Class, a motorsport special with Bernd Mayländer and a “Night at the Museum”. • The Mercedes-Benz Museum celebrates its 20th anniversary on 19 May 2026. Two days earlier, on 17 May 2026, International Museum Day will take place – with free admission to the Museum for all visitors.
• The popular Family Day with an extensive programme and lots of action will follow on 5 July 2026.
• The special exhibition “130 Years of Commercial Vehicles” will open on 25 June 2026. It presents icons from the history of Mercedes-Benz Vans and Mercedes-Benz Trucks.
• From 10 July to 9 August 2026, Urban Culture at the Mercedes-Benz Museum will be offering a diverse programme of cultural artists from the region on the open-air stage.
• “Roll the film!” is the motto of the popular Open-Air Cinema from 21 August to 6 September 2026 with the screen set up in front of the Museum’s spectacular architecture.
• The “Now on View” presentation of the renowned Mercedes-Benz Art Collection can be experienced throughout the year in the permanent exhibition. The new selection of around 30 works from 1948 to the present has been on display since the end of 2025.
