And keep vehicle functions up to date for years to come with over-the-air updates[6]. The smartest Mercedes-Benz ever is ready to usher in a new era of mobility with the Star.

“The new CLA is the most intelligent Mercedes we have ever built. It goes further, charges faster and is more efficient than ever before. Our customers can look forward to a completely new driving experience in this segment – thanks to first-class comfort and the new Mercedes-Benz operating system, MB.OS. And that’s just the beginning: with the new CLA, we are proudly launching the biggest product and technology offensive in our brand’s history.”

Mathias Geisen, Member of the Board of Management of Mercedes-Benz Group AG, Sales

The new all-electric CLA is available to order from today at Mercedes-Benz dealerships and online in Germany and other European markets. Initially, there are two models to choose from: the CLA 250+ with EQ technology (combined energy consumption: 14.1–12.2 kWh/100 km | combined CO₂ emissions: 0 g/km | CO₂ class: A)[4] delivers 200 kW and is available from €55,858.60[1]. The 260 kW all-wheel-drive CLA 350 4MATIC with EQ technology (combined energy consumption: 14.7–12.5 kWh/100 km | combined CO₂ emissions: 0 g/km | CO₂ class: A)[4] can be ordered from €60,380.60[1]. Naturally, attractive leasing and financing terms will also be available for the new CLA, such as a monthly leasing rate from €299[3] for private customers or financing at 2.99%. Further models will follow at the end of the year at prices starting from under €46,500 including 19% VAT[1]; for business customers, this means a starting price of under €39,000 net[2]. Sales will commence simultaneously in several European markets.

Exceptionally high-quality standard equipment for this vehicle class

The new CLA offers an unusually comprehensive and high-quality range of standard equipment for its vehicle class. The Progressive Line is included as standard. The equipment package includes, amongst other things, LED High Performance headlamps with Adaptive Highbeam Assist, the Mirror Package and a multifunction leather steering wheel in a sporty design. In addition, the Mercedes-Benz CLA offers comfort seats in ARTICO man-made leather/fabric with seat heating and 4-way lumbar support. The single-zone THERMATIC automatic climate control with air vents is also available for the second row of seats. And tech enthusiasts will be delighted by the four USB-C charging ports with 100-watt power output, as well as a selfie and video camera with face recognition. Also included as standard are the large panoramic roof for a spacious feel, the frunk for additional storage space, the front panel with illuminated Mercedes-Benz pattern and partially illuminated Mercedes-Benz star, MBUX navigation, and the digital charging service MB.CHARGE Public[6]. This charging service offers access to one of the world’s largest charging networks with just a single contract. At Mercedes-Benz’s own charging parks, customers can even reserve a charging point in advance via MB.CHARGE Public[7].

Customers looking for even more equipment for their CLA can benefit from a special price advantage in Germany if they place their order by 30 September 2025. Mercedes-Benz is offering a Starter Package (€2,091.43) with a 35 per cent price advantage compared to selecting individual options. It comprises the Advanced Plus package with ambient lighting, rear armrest, wireless charging system for mobile devices, extendable door handles and KEYLESS-GO, as well as the Memory package, the Parking package with reversing camera and smartphone integration. For further personalisation, additional equipment packages – the AMG Line, the AMG Line Plus – and numerous individual options are available.

Always up to date and ready for new features: regular over-the-air updates

The new CLA is the first vehicle to operate entirely via the in-house developed Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MB.OS). Every vehicle is equipped with a supercomputer connected to the Mercedes-Benz Intelligent Cloud. This enables regular over-the-air updates[6] for the most important vehicle functions, including driver assistance systems. This ensures the CLA remains up to date and appealing for years to come.

Intelligent, chatty and empathetic, just like a friend: the new MBUX Virtual Assistant

MB.OS marks the launch of the fourth generation of the Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX). It is the first in-car infotainment system to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) from both Microsoft and Google. The new MBUX Virtual Assistant can conduct complex, multi-part conversations and has a short-term memory. Based on ChatGPT4o and Microsoft Bing Search, it brings together the collective knowledge of the internet. Thanks to Google Gemini, it is also well-versed in questions relating to navigation destinations. During an active dialogue, the MBUX Virtual Assistant even recognises emotions and can respond accordingly. As a ‘living’ avatar in the form of the Mercedes-Benz star, it is always present on the MBUX Zero Layer of the central display.

The enhanced MBUX Zero Layer displays the most important information, suggestions and, for the first time, the most recently used apps[6]. In the app view, apps can now be moved and grouped into custom-named folders. The up to three screens[8] are powered by state-of-the-art high-performance chips and real-time graphics from the Unity Game Engine.

Intelligent navigation: a bespoke Google Maps solution

In the new CLA, the navigation experience is based on Google Maps[6]. Developed as part of the partnership between Google and Mercedes-Benz, this navigation solution is one of the first systems to integrate Google Cloud’s new Automotive AI Agent for in-vehicle use with Google Maps. Mercedes-Benz Navigation with Electric Intelligence plans the fastest and most convenient route, including charging stops, based on numerous factors.

Charging almost as fast as refuelling: 800-volt architecture and new battery generation

Thanks to the 800-volt system and new battery generation, the CLA has extremely short charging times. For example, the CLA 250+ with EQ technology can be recharged to provide a range of up to 325 kilometre[5] within ten minutes. Fast DC charging is possible for the CLA 250+ and CLA 350 4MATIC at up to 320 kW. Both models feature a lithium-ion battery with a usable energy capacity of 85 kWh.

For sprints and marathons alike: the first two-speed transmission in this segment

The new two-speed transmission on the main drive at the rear axle combines dynamism with high efficiency in all situations. First gear delivers excellent acceleration from a standing start, a high towing capacity and great efficiency, even in city traffic. The second gear is designed for power delivery at high speeds and for high efficiency on the motorway. It ensures outstanding range and comfort on long journeys.

Efficient pre-conditioning with ‘free’ heat: multi-source heat pump as standard

The electric CLA is the first Mercedes-Benz vehicle to feature an air-side heat pump as standard. It can utilise three energy sources in parallel: the waste heat from the electric drive and the battery, as well as the ambient air. By utilising this ‘free’ heat, the air-to-air heat pump contributes to the CLA’s high efficiency. It requires only around a third of the electrical energy that a comparable auxiliary heater would need to deliver the same output. This has a positive effect on range.
