The “Final Edition” is available with a choice of MANUFAKTUR mountain grey magno or jet black non-metallic body paint and door handles in Dark Chrome. The “Final Edition” also makes a striking impression with matt-black 19-inch AMG forged wheels in a cross-spoke design and edition-specific wheel hub covers with the AMG logo in yellow. Matching the wheel colour, the brake callipers of the AMG high-performance braking system are painted gloss black and feature white “AMG” lettering. A refined detail is the fuel filler cap in silver chrome, also with “AMG” lettering and black design elements. Optionally, the front doors feature large “45 S” lettering in yellow and black with a white outline, while the exterior mirror caps carry an AMG-specific black diamond pattern with a yellow outline. Further yellow accents round off the striking appearance.
The “Final Edition” includes the AMG Night Package with exterior elements such as exterior mirror housings and trim strips in high-gloss black. Together with the dark chrome-plated tailpipe trims, this creates harmoniously flowing transitions. The AMG Night Package II is also included. It comprises high-quality design details such as the louvres of the radiator grille or the model badges in Dark Chrome.
Even more dynamic appearance with the AMG Aerodynamics Package
The AMG Aerodynamics Package is optionally available for the “Final Edition”. Developed in the wind tunnel, the components give the special model a genuine racetrack look and improve driving stability at high speeds:
- Front apron with enlarged front splitter and additional flics in high-gloss black
- Roof spoiler in high-gloss black
- Lateral airflow separation edges around the visual air outlets of the rear apron in high-gloss black
- Diffuser blade in high-gloss black
Striking interior with yellow accents
The interior also bears the individual signature of the “Final Edition”: the AMG Performance seats are upholstered in a combination of ARTICO man-made leather and MICROCUT microfibre in black. Yellow contrasting topstitching on the seats and door panels provides expressive accents – as do the embroidered “45 S” emblems in the front head restraints. A “45 S Final Edition” emblem on the centre console underlines the exclusive character of the edition.
Further “Final Edition” details in the interior include the AMG Performance steering wheel in Nappa leather and MICROCUT microfibre with yellow decorative stitching, as well as trim elements in aluminium with AMG pattern and the yellow AMG lettering. The black AMG door sill panels in AMG pattern design with yellow illuminated AMG logo demonstrate pronounced attention to detail. AMG floor mats with “45 S” lettering and yellow decorative stitching round off the interior upgrades.
Compact performance car with a loyal fan base and top performance
With its high-performance four-cylinder engine, intelligent all-wheel drive, sports-car driving dynamics and AMG-specific design, the A 45 S 4MATIC+ has built up a loyal fan base. Its 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo engine, assembled in the Affalterbach engine manufactory according to the “One Man, One Engine” principle, produces 310 kW (421 hp). The compact performance car completes the sprint from standstill to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds. Top speed is electronically limited to 270 km/h. Beyond the pure performance figures, the four-cylinder turbo engine impresses with its immediate response and high maximum torque of 500 Nm.
Perfect power delivery in all driving situations and lightning-fast gear changes are guaranteed by the AMG SPEEDSHIFT DCT-8G eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. The fully variable AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive with AMG TORQUE CONTROL, which distributes drive power at the rear axle selectively between the wheels, also makes a decisive contribution to the dynamic driving experience.
