Around one month after its world premiere, the all-new electric Mercedes-Benz VLE is now available to order. At market entry, Mercedes-Benz is offering two attractively preconfigured variants that deliver an impressive product experience. The VLE 300 electric is available either with the Advanced Plus Package, which includes rear-axle steering, EASY-PACK tailgate incl. separately opening rear window and additional equipment or as an EXCLUSIVE version with the Premium Plus Package which also includes a head-up display, the MBUX Superscreen and DIGITAL LIGHT - among others. Both variants come with additional features such as AIRMATIC air suspension and the panoramic roof Sky View. With these unique specifications, this VLE 300 with five seats will start at 82,260 euros^[3] and as a six-seater from 82,712 euros^[3] at market launch.

Later in the year, the portfolio will be successively expanded with additional models and attractive new equipment options and lines.

Range of up to more than 700 kilometres^[1],[2] - with up to 355 kilometres rechargeable in just 15 minutes^[5]

The VLE models available at launch deliver 203 kW of output and a convincing range: Up to 713 kilometres according to WLTP^[1],[2] can be reached with the VLE 300 electric with standard equipment and the Advanced Plus package for instance. This Grand Limousine measures 5,309 millimetres in length, 1,999 millimetres in width and 1,951 millimetres in height (standard length) and is equipped with front-wheel-drive and a lithium-ion battery with a usable energy content of 115 kWh. With a state-of-the-art 800-volt electric architecture, up to 355 kilometres of range (WLTP) can be added in just 15 minutes^[5]. Hence, the electric VLE comfortably covers long-distance journeys of around 1,000 kilometres with just a single short charging stop. Fast DC charging is possible at 800-volt charging stations with a charging capacity of up to 300 kW. However, the VLE can also use a 400-volt fast charging DC infrastructure, as a DC converter is available as an option.

The first two VLE models – configured for different needs and lifestyles

Flexible seating: manual Roll & Go or “seat ballet” via remote control

The new Roll & Go concept offers a convenient way to move and remove the manually operated seats. Customers can move and fold the seats and benches forwards and backwards with minimal effort to then lock them in place in any position. They are also removable in any position, enabling customers to quickly and easily create a cargo space to suit their specific requirements. When removed, the seats can easily be rolled into the garage on their integrated four wheels.

An extremely convenient feature that is unique in this segment is the ability to remotely configure the seating. Thanks to MB.OS, all electrically adjustable rear seats and bench can be moved via the infotainment system, the seat control buttons in the side wall panels or via the Mercedes-Benz App. Called “Remote Variable Rear Space,” this feature redefines the intelligent use of space. There are four pre-defined configurations:

• “Baggage” mode moves all seats forward as far as possible to maximise cargo space – great for shopping or stowing sports gear.
• “Executive” moves the seats as far back as possible to maximise legroom in the first rear seating row – perfect for VIP transfers.
• “People & Baggage” is a well-balanced configuration that ensures ample luggage space and comfortable legroom in both rear rows.
• “Standard” mode moves all seats back to the standard position.

More to come for even greater versatility

Later this year, the VLE portfolio will be expanded step by step with further models, equipment packages and options. This includes a 4MATIC all-wheel drive model with a 115 kWh battery, the AMG Line, AMG Line Plus and two additional equipment packages (Advanced Package and Premium Package). All versions will be available with five, six, seven or eight seats. With the availability of the VLE 300 with five seats and standard equipment, the entry price will be at 70,464 euros^[3], the VLE 300 with six seats and standard equipment starts at 70,916 euros^[3].

Countless customisation options: from standard equipment to EXCLUSIVE

A wide range of packages and options enables customers to refine the VLE’s interior and the exterior to their individual preferences and lifestyles. The spectrum ranges from standard equipment, AMG Line and AMG Line Plus to EXCLUSIVE as well as four optional equipment packages (Advanced; Advanced Plus; Premium; Premium Plus) and numerous individual options. These include, for example, the Night Package, a wide selection of 19- to 22-inch light alloy wheels and trim elements.

Starting later this year, there will be four optional equipment packages to choose from, each building on the prior:

Starting 2027: VLE long version and 80 kWh battery

In 2027, a version being about 18 cm longer will be available to order – for even more interior space. In addition, the VLE rounds up the range with an 80-kWh lithium-iron-phosphate-cathode (LFP) battery offering an even more attractive entry-level-price – with a choice of front-wheel drive or 4MATIC. The VLE 250 with front-wheel drive as a five-seater in the standard specification will then start at 64,804 euros^[3], and as a six-seater at 65,261 euros^[3].
