DTM 2026: Mercedes-AMG Motorsport attacks again with a strong line-up

• Mercedes-AMG Team Landgraf and Mercedes-AMG Team Winward Racing complete DTM programme
• Driver line-up unchanged: Lucas Auer, Maro Engel, Jules Gounon and Tom Kalender
• Season starts from 24 to 26 April 2026 at the Red Bull Ring in Austria

Mercedes-AMG Motorsport confirms the entry of two performance teams and four vehicles in the 2026 DTM season. The performance and sports car brand from Affalterbach is tackling its mission to become DTM champion in 2026 with a top-class team and driver line-up. Lucas Auer (AUT) and Tom Kalender (GER) will be driving for Mercedes-AMG Team Landgraf. Winward Racing will field Maro Engel (GER) and Jules Gounon (FRA) and will enter the vehicles as Mercedes-AMG Team RAVENOL and Mercedes-AMG Team MANN-FILTER. 2026 will mark Mercedes-AMG's 37th DTM season. With twelve drivers' and 16 manufacturers' championships, the brand is the most successful manufacturer in the history of the series.

In the 2025 season, Lucas Auer impressed with two victories and numerous consistent points finishes, ultimately securing the runner-up spot in the championship with Mercedes-AMG Team Landgraf. His brand colleague Maro Engel finished third overall with Mercedes-AMG Team Winward Racing, just four points behind. For Jules Gounon and Tom Kalender, 2025 was their debut year in the prestigious series. Gounon achieved a total of three podium finishes and ended the championship in ninth place. In his rookie season in the DTM, Kalender held his own in a high-calibre field, celebrating a fifth place in the final race and finishing the championship in 21st place. Mercedes-AMG once again claimed the manufacturers’ title in 2025.

The new DTM season will begin on 24th to 26th April 2026 at the Red Bull Ring in Austria. A total of 16 races are scheduled over eight race weekends in Austria, Germany and the Netherlands.

The liveries of the four Mercedes-AMG GT3 cars will be revealed at a later date.

I now want to put what I've learned into practice even better, get closer to the other Mercedes-AMG drivers and consistently establish myself in the top 10. I've worked hard over the winter – both physically and mentally – and am going into the new season with a little less pressure. I'll be turning 18 four weeks before the first race.
